Wales - Anybody recommend LUXURY accommodation with pool??

Having search the internet much of the accommodation looks a little 'cottagey', does anybody have any recommendations of luxury modern accommodation preferably with a pool and lots for the kids to do locally?? Any help appreciated. Thanks

hi. which area are you looking at specifically, and roughly whats your budget?

we stayed in this place.really comfy, spacious, views to die for,loads and loads of great things for kids around and about.........bloomin expensive though! (oh, and no pool, but a leisure centre up the road and a beach about 5 mins walk away)

lots of nice hotels in cardiff....expensive though, but loads to do....

Thanks - well preferably North Wales just as it is nearer as I live in the Midlands - any suggestions? As for budget well no where too expensive, school holidays are a nightmare but we have to go with those dates I'm afraid - Thanks

not fussed, just really struggling - I do love wales but it seems to lack modern accommodation - especially ooop north! We want to be near the beach / coast too (maybe am asking too much here!)

We drove past this hotel and it looks lovely!

There is a fair amount to do in the area (Folly Farm, another day out/park place, soft play, crabbing and the usual seaside activities).

thanks everybody - will take a look at these. Some of the hotels seem to avoid mentioning 'children welcome' so with my two I need to make sure they are 'welcomed' as they will not be seen and not heard!! Thanks for all your responses, keep them coming - I don't know why I haven't found half these places!

i have just stayed in the celtic manor...was very child friendly...lots of children there in fact.

the st brides hotel is literally 5 doors down from the captains walk apartment i suggested.

also agree with llareggub about the distance thing....

Old thread but has anyone ever stayed with DC's at the St Bride's Spa? Or stayed there without and would advise me against?

Looks perfect but perhaps a little hushed.
