I have read the other cornwall threads but I need more specific advice. This will be our first visit as a group so we have no idea where to go. We will need 3 cottages so any advice on child friendly cottages , near town/beach would be brilliant.

As it is our first time where should we go. North/ South Cornwall. I have tried St.Moritz as advised on another thread but they are booked out on our dates in June. Thanks in advance.

I would probably stay in Rock- easy access to Polzeath and Daymer beaches, also ferry across to padstow

Thank you for your messages, Rock looks stunning and seems child friendly which is important as in our group we have a toddler and 4 other children aged 6-12 years so thinking of keeping them occupied!!!!

Rock is OK I think, so long as you don't go in school holidays - has a bit of a reputation with upper class twits.

I prefer Polzeath. But we're going to Hayle this year, as we did last year.

We are looking at cottages in polzeath and rock. We do have kids so which is more child friendly???? What are the villages like. Has anyone a local knowledge?? Would welcome any suggestions!! Thanks
