Staying in Evesham for a few nights this half term. We are looking for things to do that will amuse 5 yr old DD.
So far we have found:

Bourton on the Water - Motor Museum (Brum and toys),Model Village
Hatton Farm, Warwick
Warwick Castle ( but farkin expensive entrance fees!)
Cadbury World??
Forest of Dean, Puzzlewood, Steam Railway, Clearwell caves- a bit too far for a day trip perhaps?

Any advice most welcome.

Model Village - excellent idea
Hatton Farm - never been

Warwick castle - definately not suitable for 5 yo sorry, too much climbing/stairs, too cold, nothing indoors etc.

Cadbury World - very nice
Forest of Dean etc, well it's outdoors isn't it so it wont be very warm.

If you are stuck go to the Wacky Warehouse at Strawberry Fields for an hour.
Swimming at the Leisure Centre

A lovely walk around Stratford-upon-Avon, half an hour away by car and lovely scenery with plenty of coffee shops to pop in if it gets cold and the best childrens park I've ever seen if the weather holds up. It's right near the Butterfly Farm which is also worth a visit.

Evesham Country Park is lovely for all ages. Beautiful Shop, cafe, pottery painting place (all indoors) and a lovely little farm and miniature railway. Also lots of tourist information here.

And whatever you do - do not leave Evesham without having the buffet lunch at the Evesham Hotel. Well behaved children only though, so that counts my lot out . Worth a visit just to ogle their award winning toilets!!!!

Let me know if you want to know anything specific I can probably tell you.

cotswold farm park - looks like they'll have lambs by 1/2 term . The park re-opens on march 15th, which should hopefully be the week of your break?

You can buy tickets to the Sea Life Centre and Warwick Castle on a combined discounted rate. The Sea Life centre is worth a visit.

If going to Warwick Castle, visit St Nicholas Park opposite.

We always enjoy Hatton World. There is usually some sort of activity for children arranged for hoidays.

Furball thanks for the info, but it is - February half term, not Easter - so Cotswold farm park will still be closed then.

Thank you for the info nametaken and llareggub, we will have a look at those.
