West Wales - where are the best beaches preferably with surf

Please.

I've been to Pembrokeshire and loved it but it wasn't really a beachy holiday as it was March and freezing and we did more castles and walking than anything else. Where's the best area for sandy beaches?

We need to get on and book somewhere but I'm dithering atm.

Thanks

Also some gorgeous beaches in North Pembs which tend to be less crowded than the more southerly ones. Poppit Sands, Mwnt plus others.

Thankyou all. I've been online looking for a house to rent. We normally go to Cornwall but it's a bloody nightmare in high-season and soooo expensive especially in the areas where surfing is good. I'm hoping that Pembrokeshire might be a little less so?? Renting a house seems a little less expensive anyway.

I'll look into North Pembs alfiesbabe.

Barafundle is the best beach imo in the area. Bit of a walk from the car park but that just means it is less crowded. Apparently it has been rated as one of the best beaches in the world
