My friend goes regularly but I haven't been. She thinks it is FAB. She just went to the Belgian one which was more FAB and half the price.

We all love it. Dh and boys just been to Oasis and had an amazing time. I'm Lone parent now so doubt I'll be able to afford it for some time but you'll love it

Can't think of any horror stories? Which one you going to?

Unless you're staying in a de-lux appartment, make sure you pack toilet rolls, soap, toiletries, extra pillows (unless you are happy to sleep with just the one) & an iron, because none of these things are provided!

We were pretty shocked that there was no toilet roll, especially when you consider how much they charge!
My parents were with us & dad went mad & asked to be upgraded to a prison cell!

@ Prison Cell

Bring everything with you.

Everything

Pillows

Sharp Knives

Toilet Roll

FOOD

This is the most important, the restaurants are crap and the supermarket is a rip off.

The surroundings make up for it.

No cars, no traffic noise.

When we were there, we opened the patio doors and the ducks came in looking for food.

Brownie camp, no? You're going to love it, honestly. We go on cruises, disney world hols etc.. and love this as much. It wouldn't be so busy all year if it was like brownie camp. It's a get away from it all holiday.

Once you decide on the parc then people can tell you more.

He was lucky then, Ulysees, because they actually explained to dad that you only get it if you upgrade.
We got some in the end though, after dad had a major tantrum! We got a bottle of wine thrown in too!!

I agree that the surroundings are lovely. We did enjoy it, but it's pretty costly, especially if you book extra activities & eat out.
Boys enjoyed it, but a weekend was long enough for me!

we had a premier lodge and got bog roll, dvd, tv etc. Was great fun for kids - they had independence.

Book all your activities beforehand as you might find them all booked up when you get there.

Go to the spa - it is fantastic (well the one in Longleat is)

If you go to Oasis, we drove off site and went just up the road to penrith and found an amazing restaurant.

so I would have to cook every nite then which is not a holiday to me. I dont want to be taking loads of stuff because it will be left to me to remember it all.

But £265 for a midweek break just seems great for 4 of us but I suppose you get what you pay for. It will probably be sherwood
