We would like to try house swapping this summer. We would like to go the London swap (swop?! - I need to stop saying it) our place in Ireland for a week in the school holidays, July/August time)
Does anyone have any good house swap recommendations? Or is anyone interested?

Maybe interested- where and what is your house like? Lots of Londoners on here.

Thats what I thought!
We live in Co Cork. I don't have any house photos but will take some for this purpose soon. We live in a 3 bedroom semi-d by the sea in Kinsale.
We've two children so would probably be looking to swap with a similar household size wise to accomodate us.
We lived in London pre-children so know it quite well.

We are thinking, although not sure yet, that we would drive to London via the ferry so that we would have our own car. Or else swap cars too and fly.

I wonder if there's a safe way of doing this without using an agency? If there is, I might be interested.

We have had two successful swaps abroad through Guardian Home Exchange when we had a flat in London. The annual membership is very reasonable.

We've since moved to Bath and will definitely be joining up again once we have the house sorted. It would be nice to spend week or two in London during the summer to catch up with family and friends.

Thanks Shopaholic, just had a look there, might try it out. There does seem to be plenty of London houses on it.
If anyone is interested, pm me anyway, probably safest way!
