2-3 nights away October half term ideally without WIFI any ideas

Any ideas for 2 to 3 nights away October half term week with an 11 and 12 year old please? We can't go the first weekend due to work and the kids are secondary school age so need to be in school the following Monday morning which rules out the second weekend and many options as usually weekend or Mon-Fri. I would love somewhere with things to do and plenty of family time and no wifi would be a bonus in my opinion not a disadvantage to keep kids off their phones. I don't want to go too far so thinking north/northwest or Scotland. We have a dog which we could take or not. We need either a large family hotel room with two single beds or a cottage/apartment with same. We love Northumberland but couldn't see anything left. Any ideas please !!! Thanks

Feather down farms? Quite a few of them are doing 2 night breaks now. We loved it.
