Pubs with accommodation

We want to go for a long weekend away with DS (nearly 5 months) and thought staying in a pub might be good because we could put him to bed in the room and the baby monitor should reach to the pub so we can have dinner and a few drinks.

We're in the Midlands and don't want to travel more than about two hours away - so maybe Stratford, Yorkshire, Peak District, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations? Or websites that are good for finding things like that?

They do look nice - unfortunately a bit too far away - DS will only sleep for a couple of hours max in the car and then screams for the rest of the journey!

Have found a couple in Shropshire that might be nice.

Try this website called stayinapub

I've stayed at this pub: Oddfellows, Cirencester and would go back. They have a beer garden out the back with a wendy house and swing in it. I sat in there one afternoon glugging wine and reading magazines, while dd was asleep in her buggy and dh asleep on the table. It was bliss.

Just remembered though there was a function on that night as one of the locals was moving to Australia and they had a send off. It was very noisy till midnight. So I'd suggest checking out with the pub if something like that's going on.
