Alton Towers - Woodland lodges question

We're staying in the Woodland Lodges and looking at the map it looks a long way from the rest of the resort. Anyone know if there's any sort of transport into the resort? I'm with a 4 year old and wondering if she will be tired before we even start the day!

I know she's four... but I'd certainly borrow a buggy.
It's a very long day.. loads of walking and queuing.
