DCs are 7 and 9.

Anyone been recently and got any ideas?

When are you going? My boys (also 7&9) like the quad biking, laser combat is really fun too, they like the go ape thing with the zip line at the end, we also tend to do the climbing wall and in the summer they usually do a watersports activity.
We also often do ten pin bowling on the first day and then mini golf on the last morning after a final swim.

Laser combat is best if you do it as well as its team based.

We are going in August.

Yes, I thought the go ape thing looked good. All of your suggestions sound good!

We are very excited as we haven't been to CP since 2008!

I remember going on a wonderful early morning bird watching walk, but that doesn't seem to exist anymore.

Mine are older now and we've never been to elveden but we are CP experienced over the years.

Can't remember which age categories they fall into, but things in addition to the above suggestions which my two boys enjoyed:

Archery/field archery
The motorised things you hold onto and do in the pool
A survival course thing where they built a shelter in the woods
outside bowling
short tennis
table tennis
Family Quiz (probably because we won!)
Birds of Prey thing

Our 10 year old son enjoyed the Aquajet activity (the motorised things you hold onto and do in the pool!) when we were at Elveden for February half term.

You can hire a table tennis table for 30 minute sessions, we had to book two sessions back-to-back as table tennis is the current obsession at the kids school thanks to the two table tennis tables they have in the playground!

Or just plain old bike riding and swimming. The cyclone (I think that's what it's called!) water slide/ride is fab.

How much are the activities?
Eg the laser combat per person?

Activity prices really vary and I don't have a list. However for some of the more expensive things such as lasers etc. you are looking at about £100+ for a family of 4 Whereas you could be about £10-15 for table tennis. We tend to do a couple of expensive things and then fill with cheaper activities.
