It's only March but it is already proving to be a difficult year.

We would like to plan something for NYE to give us something to look forward to. We have been into London a couple of times in the past to watch the fireworks but it's surprisingly taxing standing still for hours when you have arthritis!

Where have you been to that you have enjoyed? Smile

We have been away for new years eve a few times. we have been to Looe in Cornwall twice where they have a huge fireworks display off of the beach and you dress in fancy dress. we did once do the sea swim for the RNLI on new years day. we stayed HERE have also been to Amsterdam which is accessible and was great fun but very noisy with all the firecrackers. have also done a murder mystery evening at a hotel with a meal. expensive but something different.

Mummymeister, Thanks so much for your reply, we love the idea of Looe!

We loved Stockholm at new year. You go to a park which has a firework display but so does everyone else in the city which the park overlooks-wonderful x

The fireworks display in Looe is huge and it has a fantastic backdrop of the sea and everything. our fancy dress wasn't that exciting but some people seem to really go all out.
