haven't been for a good few years but I remember there was tonnes of family stuff to do near by, places to visit, lots of lovely beaches, walks, we had a perfect week. We walked over Peak Hill down into the pretty town of Sidmouth and had lunch looking out over the coast, gorgeous!

We went last year. Very good, a bit crowded and the beach is very pebbly, but a nice atmosphere and a lovely restaurant terrace with sea views.

Oh and Bicton Park was a great day out and is just a couple of miles away if that.

pecorama at beer is very well kept garden with trains and great cakes. hire a hammer and go fossil hunting at Charmouth and visit the jurassic coast centre. Otterton mill does great daytime food not open in the evenings.

Agree that it is a bit crowded and beach is a bit pebbly. Bicton is a fab day out. Have stayed at their sister site over the hill but v quiet and limited facilities but that was what we wanted.
