We are planning to move in cressex area which is in highwycombe. We are new to highwycombe and we got mixed comments about that area.

We are in an oscillation.Do anyone have ideas about that area.

Hmm, it's always been quite a rough area and the school was dire, although they built a brand new school there a few years ago so it may well have improved.

It's relatively cheap, and is handy for things like the cinema, Asda and John Lewis but whenever I drive through it (I'm near Henley), it seems a bit depressed to be absolutely honest.

Historically it was one of the areas to avoid but that may have change in past 20 years since JL et al arrived.

Like everywhere some parts are nicer/better than others etc but its far from terrible ...can I ask where abouts in cressex do you hope to move?

Cressex wouldn't be somewhere I would move to, having said that it would depend on what part of Cressex.
If you need a sec school then I would avoid it as the local sec school has a very bad reputation.
There are some nice areas near Cressex like Booker Common but you need to do a lot of research as a lot of areas of Cressex, Sands and Castlefield are called Booker by their residents when they aren't and vise versa.
