Accommodation near Warwick Castle

We look into going to Warwick Castle in autumn. We have been before, I am not the biggest fan, but we have Merlin passes until next April and thought DD will enjoy it, she wasn't even 4 last time, so can't remember a thing.

As it is 2.5hours drive from us a day trip would be a bit much so we thought staying somewhere on Saturday night and driving back on ?Sunday afternoon.

Does anybody know a nice B&B or can recommend a Premier Inn or similar?

We stayed in the Holiday Inn Express. Rooms were clean and basic but cheap. Bit of a queue for the free breakfast! Nice pub across the car park did good meals and catered for children. www.expresswarwick.co.uk/

In Kenilworth, about 10 minutes from Warwick. You could even do Kenilworth Castle the next day too!

The premier inn in warwick is very good.

The premier inn I agree is very good. Nice and new and you can walk to the castle.
