Anyone been to Bedruthen Steps Hotel Spa?

I'm thinking about booking one of their packages where you get lunch and to use the pool etc for a couple of hours. My mum went a year or two ago for a treatment and thought the treatment was good but the spa itself wasn't up to much.

I know the outside of the building is a bit ugly and I think this may have been what put her off (she's a fussy bugger). Anyone have any experience?

I've used it when we stayed there, but not for a few years. Apart from the pool the spa room is a massive bubble jet pool and various steam rooms. Then comfy sofas and magazines. I loved it but then I was escaping from small boys for a few hours as it's very peaceful.
