Having a day out in Glasgow, dh is taking dd to cinema at 3pm and then we thought we would get an early dinner, but where? We are going to be around the Buchannan Galleries area. Any ideas Glasgow mummies?

Not a Glasgow Mummy but a Scottish mummy who loves Glasgow and often go /link{http://www.dimaggios.co.uk/_restaurants/_city.html\here} if in Glasgow shopping etc, it's not far from Buchannan Galleries and very relaxed and we have always found it to be child friendly.

Also TGI Fridays, not far from there either.

Mine like Wagamama in West George St, or La Vita on the corner of George Sq and Queen St. If you go down the Di Maggios road, as suggested by Mrs Spoon, avoid the Di Maggios pronto (close to Buch Galleries) at all costs, and head to the one in Royal Exchange Square. Have a nice day.

wagamama was ideal, we all found something we liked, dd tried out chopsticks and we left with two free t-shirts. Fab!

i vote wagamama, i was there the other day with a friend and her two daughters aged 6 and 3. bring crayons and they can scribble on the table mats. oh, and order the edamame, no salt, the children loved popping the soy beans out of their pods with their teeth and it bought valuable time while waiting for the order.

My two love the China Buffet King on Hope St, also on Sauchihall St. All the obvious chinese food plu salads, cold meat, mini pizza, cakes, ice cream on tap and even custard. Eat as much as you like for set price.

We also like O Sole Mio on Bath St, lovely little Italian place that will do half portions of the pasta or pizza for kids.
