Large accommodation sleeps 16 with pool - family get together - any ideas

Hi there

Any recommendations for accommodation preferable central England for a family birthday / get together, we have a total of 16 people so would need to sleep a minimum of that (9 adults 7 children). With an indoor pool and other things to do would be better - any ideas welcome - thanks!!

Have a look at the bigholidayhouse and groupaccommodation websites. they have a really good selection. when do you want it for?

We stayed on a campsite near Ely which had a group of cottages with a pool and play area. It was called Caves Farm Barns and was lovely and peaceful, on a working farm.

We had the biggest between 2 families and it was lovely. Not central England but thought it was worth a mention!

hanks those look lovely - though we would really prefer one place for all of us - so still looking if anyone has any ideas - but may consider the lower wood ones for a family holiday of our own they look great!! Thanks!!

We've stayed st Sweetbriar, on the Sedgeford Hall estate in Norfolk (it's googleable, I can't link as on phone), with a party of 10 adults and 6 children.

Swimming Pool on the estate, large garden for children and it was really well maintained and equipped (DVDs, games, books and plenty of living space).

Not central I'm afraid but near to Newton Abbot in Devon. Although the house says it sleeps 25 some of these are sofabeds so you might not want to use these. Fabulous house with everything you need. I have stayed here twice for 'big' birthdays with different friends and it's never failed to be fantastic.
