looking for cheapish spa break

Feeling seriously decrepit and in need of a restorative break - can anyone recommend a reasonably priced spa hotel or health spa pref in the south east? Where I can feel comfortable eating on my own in the evening? Nowhere too clinical - more lying by the pool and having my nails done than being pummelled with birch sticks! Could go on a Sunday night - anyone know of any good deals at the mo'? Thanks
