Have come across this site while searching for our summer holidays. Has anyone any experience of the site?
Thanks in advance.

our friends stayed in a yurt on the Cornish coast and because the weather was rubbish they gave up after a couple of days. Yurts look great fun but would worry too much about the weather. they are just posh tents after all. try trip advisor if no one on here has been. We stay in this part of Cornwall at least once a year. It is a fab place to holiday but Liskeard is a bit a way from the sea. what are the yurts called?

They're called 'Luxury Cornish Yurts'. There are only three yurts on the site alongside a building housing kitchens and shower rooms. You get your own shower room and kitchen area. The brick building also has sofas and TV.
I have checked Trip advisor and the reviews are all great - that alone makes me a little suspicious. No gripes listed at all. Just wondering if they could all be true.

I know the area pretty well but haven't ever heard of these I am afraid nor know anyone who has stayed in them. they are quite a way from the sea and there isn't actually anything on your doorstep. about 20 - 25 mins from the beach. depends on what kind of holiday you want. we prefer cottages in case the weather is not so good. Nothing worse than being wet and cold imo. tripadvisor is always good as a guide but always take it with a bit of salt. For £750 a week you could get yourself a cottage nearer to Looe with stuff on site to do. as I said all depends on what sort of holiday you want.

the thing with cornwall, is that if you have nice weather then it is beautiful. but when its windy and raining, then by god it rains! not sure i'd fancy it!

Bumping this back up again.
Thanks for the replies so far.
I was looking for anyone who has stayed at this site - or knows anyone who has?

loads of good reviews on tripadvisor OP but you are sharing a kitchen and picked up that there were no lights in the yurts so have to use candles. you might see this as a plus or a minus.
