There are plenty dependent on your budget.

The Midland
The Lowry (pricey but practically on the doorstep)
The Radisson
The Premier Inn (the one on the corner of Portland St and Peter St - cheap)
Jury's Inn

All of the above are no more than a 10 min walk. There are tons more, try tripadvisor or lastminute.com etc.

If you go before Christmas pleeeease make sure you go to the Christmas Markets (though you cant miss them )

I work right in the middle of Spinningfields and there are loads of restaurants too.
