The highland wildlife park is good.
I can't link on my phone but there wa a long, detailed thread with excellent advice on this a couple of weeks ago. It was really detailed and very helpful; maybe you can advance search it by date?
If weather's ok (ie not raining) go to Loch Morlich - there's a great beach (highest inland beach in UK apparently)If you like walking, there's a great walk round Loch an Eilein. You can get a funicular train up cairngorm. Highland wildlife park is also great (was there last week!)The landmark centre is also good, though perhaps for a slightly older child (but take a look at the website as you can do gat things like treetop trail, and the wood maze)There are loads of things. It's a fabulous location!
