Have just booked out hols to Devon (Kingsbridge)! Am very excited as first hol with baby. Can anyone recommend nice things to do in the Kingsbridge/Dartmouth area that would suit sunny and/or rainy days in Devon. I'm sad but am putting together notes of things to do so we are organised when we get there!

We stayed in Dartmouth at half term with our 3 dcs. Lovely park in kingsbridge with new equipment, beaches at slapton and Blackpool sands stony but ok on a blanket. Maybe try a trip on the steam train? Our dcs love it!

We normally stay in Brixham which is a little further away but things we like doing:
Pennywell Farm
Steam train trip from Paignton
National Trusts: Coleton Fishacre (in my top 5 NT properties!) and Greenway (you can take a river trip to get there)
Beaches
Crabbing in Brixham harbour
Swimming pool in Torquay if it's raining
Eating cream teas / cake!!

Have a lovely time!
