Blackpool Sands is a lovely beach (not sandy though)

You can get the lower ferry from Bayards Cove to Kingswear and then walk alongside the railway line (about a mile) to the higher ferry and back across to Dartmouth

Kendricks is child friendly

Outside the Dartmouth Arms is nice for an early evening drink

Salcombe is nice for a day trip

There are ferries which go to Totnes (hippy central)

It's nice! (I lived there for a while)

There's a lovely fish and chip place by the quay.

Rock fish and grill and are very child friendly. There's the ferry and boats around the harbour.

Paignton has a great zoo.

There's the steam train to Paignton for a day out (although Paignton is a bit grim)

Loads of cafes and nice walks, but I prefer Salcombe which is close by.

We spent a night here once and thought it nice. Thinking of hiring place in early july for a week with 9mth old. Is there stuff to do with baby in tow eg restarants, cafes, walks etc..? Any experiences or places to stay you'd recommend? Budget max 700 smile
