How about abroad? Take the kids to see a bit of the world, eurocamp or similar fits the bill, no mascots etc

Clippesby Hall is great if you do decide to return to camping.

Bluestone looks amazing by the way!

Of a sheet!
That's before the first alcohol of the week!

A staycation? Shall I make the kids a den out if a sheet?

We chose a short Easter break at Bluestone. We normally camp but wanted three bedrooms and a bit of luxury with a toddler in tow. We liked the activities on site and being able to eat out if we wanted.

But... My idea of hell is the kind of place where staff dress up as animal mascots, there is loud entertainment until the wee small hours and lager louts on site. <shameless snob emoticon!>

So what next? Bedruthan type place? Holiday village? Stay at a resort hotel?

Or convince DH to camp with the kids whilst I check into a spa?
