Which Centre Parcs Activities for 3yrs DS?

Hi,

Cemtre Parcs pros, what activities would you recommend for a 3 year old boy? There is soooo much to choose from!

Are the baby things any good? Have also got a 9 month old bubba.

The time out club is fab! DS says it was his favourite bit!
Owl experience was good, the staff were very good at gauging which children were a bit nervous, and which ones would love an owl flying right over their heads!
The magic show at the pancake house was surprizinly good
Feeding bird food to the squirrels on the patio
Going in the bike trailer
Gardin de sport has things like mini bowling ans soft play
The pool and slides..
.. to be honest it was all a hit :-D

dunno bout baby things, found the pool quite cold so bring in dressing gowns and money for hot choc to warm up while you're watching 3yo go down the slide for the 100th time!

I'd say not a lot really, I did the petting animal thing and it was very disappointing and DS2 wasnt impressed seeing that you have to buy 2 passes - 1 child 1 adult. Most things were fully booked so we didnt get chance to do a lot, the mini bowling was ok but £15 and after 2 throws of bowling he lost interest.

AGree the pool and cycling. I found that DS2 was shattered as cycling so much, late night, over excited so couldnt cope with much.

I certainly wouldn't spend any money on activities for that age. The pool, cycling and outdoor play areas keep everyone busy. Feeding squirrels, watching ducks and generally looking out for wildlife takes up a lot of time (if you're that way inclined) Is there a bird hide where you're going? That might interest your 3 year old but you have to be v.v.v quiet! Maybe family golf if you're desperate but I've found that if you have one or two paid-for activities then the day has to be centered around them. E.g.You are enjoying yourself in the pool but then everyone has to get out, grumbling, to go and do a half-baked craft activity. (Can you tell this has happened to us? )

Thanks! We spent loads of time cycling and in the pool last time and it was great as DS loves the water. I think we might book the Owls and one other incase the weather is,cack (first week in March). Will have à look at the fencing!
