Any suggestions for nice seaside places to stay in Devon please

Never stayed in Devon before , prefer places that are smaller and not too commercial .

Bigbury on sea. We stayed in some appartments right on the beach, was expensive though. Think there was other accomendation there like a caravan park very quiet and lovely lifeguarded beach with a surf school and nice cafe.

we love salcombe. Have a look at coast and country cottages, they have lovely properties in all price ranges
