Looking for pink lego!

Can anyone help? My parents want to get DD(4) the big box of pink lego for Christmas but it seems to be out of stock everywhere suddenly! Has anyone seen it in stock? Even the small box would be better than no pink lego!

And before anyone says, I know that lego should be unisex etc etc but DD has seen the pink one at a friend's house and loved it - she doesn't have any lego yet and I thought this would be a good introduction to it, and I think she'd be seriously underwhelmed by a big green box instead!

Thanks so much scorps but it's this one I'm after - the lego for slightly bigger children rather than mega blocks. The lego website says deliveries can be expected in March 2010 so I don't hold out much hope atm!

They're all silly money on ebay.

Have you looked at the Lego website. I bought DD a Creator House there the other week and noticed for the pink box it was saying to ring them to check stock. May be worth phoning?

Bugger just realised that Ebay one is the smaller box - they are selling it for twice the price I'd seen it for a couple of months ago in town! How cheeky!

Thanks Stripey - will phone them. Otherwise it will have to be a big green one - which will be just as much fun I know.

Actually DD mostly plays with Playmobil so I was thinking something pink would make a nice change!

Tikka - the ones in that ebay link are for a different pink box, a smaller one. Be careful that you don't get the wrong one. The only large boxes up for sale on ebay are £50.

Though I guess a smaller box may be better than no box, just wanted to make sure you realised.

Tikkabillajive are you any where near Bluewater in Kent? they have a big lego shop there and lots of pink stuff!

I think it is mainly normal coloured lego inside though? If you are really struggling just buy a pink toy box or does she want pink lego pieces?

Also a lego shop in Milton Keynes. And I think you can get into Legoland without paying, just into the shop bit.

The link I gave you earlier had the box you're looking for, but I think it was £29 (I've not looked again).
I know that's over the retail price - depends how desperate you are to get hold of some.

It was £29, postage was another £20.

Thanks all for your help - I can't be bothered with all the people selling it for ridiculous prices on Ebay, or with travelling miles to get hold of it - it's not that important (although I like the sound of the lego shop at Bluewater!) So will suggest that mum either gets the normal kind or waits until her birthday when all the Christmas craziness is over and it will hopefully be back in stock. And then I don't have to think about it any more! You've all been brilliant though, thanks!
