This musical dolphin is very cute. In the water around the bottom of the dolphin are 5 other little creatures that are different colors and all have different musical instruments. This also has several different buttons to push, some light up in different colors and others don't. The Musical Activity Center teaches colors, the different musical instruments and their sounds and different sea creatures. It takes 3 AA batteries which are not included. When I turned it on I noticed the speaker for the toy was working very well. I had fun just checking it out so I know my grand babies are going to have a blast with this activity center. I do think it looks somewhat like a whale. .
