Hi all

Could really use a few suggestions for a birthday present for my friend's dd's 2nd birthday next week.

She already has a kitchen & shop plus accessories & isn't really into any particular tv characters yet, nor is she too fussed with dolls. Only having a ds myself i'm struggling 2 come up with any ideas 4 a suitable pressie.

Any suggestions?

What does she like? Don't make assumptions that it has to a pinky sparkly thing - give her something your ds likes and the odds are that she will, too. Dinosaurs, duplo, playmobil, aqua doodle ...

Duplo, happyland, orchard toy games?

DD adores magna doodle, stickers (really really loves stickers....), colouring, books (especially Wibbly Pig and Meg and Mog), duplo, her wooden train set, really really super super loves her tea set (just got the Emma Bridgewater melamine one for Christmas but she also has the £10 Peterkin one from amazon and she can spend hours playing with them and having tea parties).... I would go for a tea set.

My dd turned two on 5th dec.

Favourite things are dinosaurs and ben and holly toys and ds4's imaginex batman toys.

She likes jigsaws and got a dinosaur one and a lovely mog the cat one for her bday.

Musical toys are also a hit.

Books are always good.

Little bags for putying stuff in.

Craft stuff such as colouring stuff and sticking, she us happy with a sheet of paper, some foam shapes and a pritt stick!

Also play doh.

Oh yes a tea set.

Also the melissa and doug toys are good. We have a set of woiden cup cakes with icing and candles that velcro on and icing 'pens' you can decorate the cakes with (it wipes off) dd loves them!

Bags, yes!!! DD has a little handbag in the shape of a strawberry that she takes everywhere. It's such a standard fixture that I'd forgotten about it! Smile

Hi all, thanks for the suggestions. She loves thomas tank most of all but she already has a full set of the trains & various thomas books etc. I love the little tea sets & wooden play food like cakes etc but guess what-already got that too! I think i am sorted now though, i did as jkklpu suggested & looked at what ds had got that she would like too & have chosen a book called treasure hunt for girls (ds has the boys version which is fab), some peppa pig dominoes, a thomas tank puzzle & some elc threading buttons (which will be for later in the year).x

DD likes her Dyson Hoover, dressing up clothes and books are always welcome.
