Bought some moon dough for christmas for 3yr old DD who loves play dough, we go through so much (maybe 3 tubs a week)! she plays with it for hours

anyway she needed some new play dough this morning so i gave her 2 tubs of moon dough... this stuff is awful, its not a dough its like sand and it gets everywhere, the colours mix together straight away and now its all over my kitchen floor!

i wouldnt recomend it, and ive bought loads for christmas... the puppy play set, the farm and more!

It will be going back

Thanks for the warning! Is Play Doh OK? I'm thinking of getting Play Doh for my 2 year old. Have avoided Moonsand, Moondough (Moonanything probably) because of the crap reviews. Guess they're true!

Playdough is fine for a 2 year old - but just let them have 1 colour at a time Grin

I love Playfoam too

I second Play Doh. It does get left out and dries out, but it's still the best. We've tried Moon Sand, but it mixes straight away and it too fragile for a 4 year old to play with. Plus it disappears into the carpet!

Moondough is awful stuff! We bought it to entertain ds while I breastfed dd.

Ds is 3 and it was the farm set we got but it goes EVERYWHERE!!!! caused more work to clean then I need with a 1 week old constantly needing feeding and a 3yr old needing entertaining.

Avoid at all costs!!!!
