On west side near horse entrance 5 rows back or on north side off centre 12 rows back. No idea which os best and need to choose tonight. Any advice welcome, thanks!

Haven't missed an Olympia in decades. Really frustrated because we've got priority booking window as well but don't know which day to go as they have not organised their schedule of events yet !!

Have been in both areas you mention and I'd say go for the North - just a better overall view than being near the horse entrance although both will be absolutely fine..

We slightly prefer the South Side as easier to get in and out of the shops rather than having to trawl round the whole arena..

Thanks Butkin...we're going for the Puissance as dd has wanted to see one for ages, so was easy to pick the day, otherwise we'd have been in the same boat. Chose North in the end too. BTW you gave us some great advice when we were trying to decide whether to buy dpony or not and we did get her and its all worked brilliantly, best decision we ever made, so thank you!! :)

The Puissance is a great event - we went to watch it at the HOYS last year and really enjoyed it so you should be in for fun. You should be in a really good position to get the right perspective. We want to go for the M&M Finals day which is usually the Monday but sometimes the Sunday and BSPS confirmed to me yesterday it's not yet decided..

Glad your pony is working out well - always great to hear happy stories on here..

One tip for Olympia - the intervals are horrendously busy for the shops and not recommended unless you want to go to one specific place. If you don't want to miss a part of the performance (and Puissance night should be all fun..) then I recommend you check what the earliest you're allowed into the shops (usually towards the end of the afternoon performance) if you want to do some pre-Christmas shopping..

One of the best seats I ever had there was right against the rails next to the horse entrance. I could see them warming up and see the horses and riders close up as they entered and left. The only downside was the prize givings face the other end.

Yes we've sat next to the rails as well - great when DD was small and could watch the warm ups and high-5 Santa on his way out! Only good though if you're actually against the rail.

We've taken the plunge and bought tickets for Sunday afternoon to watch the World Cup - 14 South Side. We're not massive fans of show jumping and would rather watch the M&Ms but as their date is unconfirmed we've decided to watch the best show jumping and enjoy the fact we don't have to battle the Monday traffic !
