This one //here?

I've just got the renewal through for dhorse and the cost has gone up a lot this year. I've been having a quick google for alternatives and came across this company for which the quote is almost half what my present company wants to charge so obviously it's tempting.
However, I've never heard of them before and don't want to fall into the trap of getting cheap insurance with a company who will do anything to avoid paying out (Evasions & Lies anyone?). Plus I have been very happy with my present company, they are friendly and helpful and have paid out promptly on the one occasion I had to claim. A big difference in price though, and just before Christmas and my car insurance is due too...

Ah... thanks for that. I thought they were too good to be true. Funny that because I looked on the moneycompare thing and they only had two companies on there, this one and E&L!

Pixel, I've used this company who have been fantastic with a year long claim I've made. Not sure if you've had a quote from them but from my experience I would highly recommend. Obviously on renewal they've ruled out the claim condition but the premium hardly went up which I thought was good.

Thanks, food for thought there then. I did an online quote thing and it came out about £200 cheaper than I've been quoted so a fair old difference. I just didn't want it to turn out to be a false economy. Smile

I'm also with them for my youngster and they were absolutely fine when paying out quite a hefty sum last year when he got Canker in 3 feet.

My other horse is with NFU and they are a lot more expensive but again they are fab and I never have any problems with them either!
