You are always kind enough to ask after Dpony.

Well, we have a new loan pony and her lovely owners are going to take Dpony. He's going to basically be turned out for a year, with a touch of light hacking, then some lead rein stuff with her niece.

It's a far quieter environment then our busy farm and they will do less with him than our PC stuff. Better all round and give him chance to breathe and heal.

It's only after seeing how quickly the loan pony has settled and how much she just takes everything in her stride so easily that I see how unhappy he was. She just 'enjoys' it all, adores being fussed and is so incredibly easy, is giving DD al her confidence back, cannot tell you how grateful I am for that.

Not interesting in the money, I just feel I owe him a good home where he can shine.

As soon as I saw you'd posted I wondered how it was going with dpony. I'm glad you've found somewhere for him that sounds perfect - have fun with the new one too.

Thank you frosty. I read sometimes on Facebook about all these nightmare loan situations, but I have developed a lovely relationship with our loan 'parents', the pony is adorable, and, given that's she was being wasted in her field, it's mutually beneficial. The pony gets a busy, active and loving home and our pony gets the recuperation that he needs. Smile

Slightly in love with dloanpony already though, and I would hate for her to go back at any point.
