Cob x thoroughbred, 15h , 14 year old, sensible & calm, but boy does he turn it up a notch for jumping.

My son was sailing over 3ft on him with plenty of room to spare.

Come from a friend of a friend who bought him for quiet hacking , but obvious he doesn't like quiet hacking and still enjoys getting out and competing. Will be for my son for pony club/ riding club events.

Arranged vetting for next week... Wish us luck.

He sailed through his vetting with no issues at all, couple of splints but expect that for a 14year old.

Pick him up tomorrow.. so now worrying about it being the right decision, him settling in , etc etc etc..

horse buying is so stressful.

Yup, definitely stressful, but after a while you'll be past that stage and loving every minute with him. Hope he's settling in well.

He is Fantastic!!!

Such a great pony, I think he will be my sons once in a lifetime pony.

Our saddler had her trade stand at a show today, so asked us to meet her there to check fit of saddle he came with (which is straight cut). And to fit my working hunter saddle to him.

He was perfectly behaved!

There was no clear round jumping, So we put him in 2ft and 2ft 3 classes,.. Clear in both , jockey steering error in 1st class meant 4faults but double clear and 5th on 2ft3 as jockey was under orders to take it very steadily.
