Just thought I'd share. Bought a pair of these gloves in Aldi, and they are perfect for poo-picking. They are lovely and fleecy inside do I haven't had the choice of freezing hands or trying to fit rubber gloves over my ordinary ones. I poo-picked in the pouring rain the other day and my hands stayed dry too which I wasn't expecting because of the knitted part on the gloves. Colour is a bit lurid but then we'll be easy to see in the fog!
Have been back and bought a couple more pairs.
OOh,I looked at those yesterday with the same thought.I already have a pair of Aldi's neoprene fishermens gloves that are great. They have a little 'flap' that you can velcro back on the thumb and forefingers-ideal for keeping your hands warm whilst fiddling around with buckles whilst tacking up.
Old news love!
we've been using those for years! We muck out the shavings/Hemcore beds with them. It's miles easier than using a shavings firm and saves tons of bedding! You can usually get them in the Pound shop.

Ah well I've been using some similar gloves for a couple of years but they aren't as warm as these ones.
I'll shut up now then. <sobs>

at least you poo pick! I'm miles behind with mine. I've got a huge paddock which I could theoretically have harrowed, (ive even go a flippin harrow) and save me loads of time and help my grass a little, and it's so bloody wet it's impossible! I've got a metal rack that I am planning to have a go at towing behind one of the Shetlands, as soon as I get a spare hour or two, but I don't hold out much hope! If not its a day or two of hard wet slog!
