We seem to have had non stop rain for a month now. Alice is out during the day and I am lucky that she has a big field which is not getting too churned up though typical muddly patches by the gate and the dry stone wall where she likes to shelter from the wind (which also seems to have gone on forever)
I am also fortunate enough to have a second field (much wetter) which I can use in the Spring if the dryer weather ever comes.
How long does it take a muddy filed to recover and should I be doing anything else to look after the grass. I really want her out during the day as I think she will be bored senseless if I try and keep her in . Just curious how other people manage.
