DH and I are going to the dressage - He is pleased as these are the only tickets we got but not sure how he will enjoy a whole day of dressage- at least at a three day event there are loads of other things going on. My brother and sister in law are also going - they have never been to anything horsey before but are really looking forward to it, their kids love horses but living in London don't see many.

Just registered for dressage in second round. Got nothing in the first round despite registering for every horsey event going. Fingers crossed.
I am really looking forward to the paras. Having volunteered with para riding, it is well worth it.

We've got two tickets for dressage too - and again they're the only ones we got.

I really want to see the dressage paralympics.

I didn't get any, but then I did only apply for showjumping. Oh well, too poor really anyway :)

We got some non equestrian in the second round, but am more interested in going to the paralympics too.

What's the name of that fantastic British dressage guy, who rides the most beautiful horse, in the Paralympics? I'd really love to see him.

Lee Pearson??

Didn't get any tickets either. Particularly annoying that the XC capacity was reduced by 20,000 Angry. Also annoying to hear of non-horsey folk getting tickets too [grump]

Lee Pearson - thank you! We are horsey, if that helps. Sorry you didn't get any. Sad

We're going to the X Country in Greenwich and looking forward to taking DD who will be 9 then and really able to appreciate it.

Didn't apply for any other equestrian events but grateful for what we got.

would love to go to paralympics too - real medal chances there too. A bit too far to make two trips down to London or hang around for long enough. Lee Pearson is fantastic! Will just have to hope for some good tv coverage. Just curious to know how 'horsey' you have to be to justify applying for tickets? Am assuming that not many of those who applied for 100m final are even runners let alone sprinters! hope people get lucky in the second round.

I got the showjumping round of the women's modern pentathlon, which I'm quite excited about! Applied for dressage too but didn't get them. Applying for the Paralympics is a good idea though...

We got XC tickets - it was the only thing I wanted to go to the moment I heard we'd won the Olympics (aside from the 100m final!). We are horsey - DD is SO excited!

PanicMode, I got XC too! Very excited but haven't even told DD yet as I only have two tickets and am going with a horsey friend to lust after admire male riders (and horses). Horrible horrible mummy...
