I don't 'need' either and can't afford them really, but which is best?

Don't know, but have you thought of the poor horseowner's Rambo which is their Amigo range - cheaper by far!

In reality am too poor for Amigo - this is just a guilt thing because I have had so little to do with them lately. Want medal if manage to show up and ride one of them once a week!

Those duo ones just seem so cosy I want to buy them one each, get their lovely smell all over the inside and then sleep in the rugs myself. Blush

I know, there's something about new rugs isn't there? I'm so frustrated as I haven't ridden since May since dhorse has been having sarcoid treatment - shoes go back on next week. But now I have bursitis in my hip (by god it hurts), and am not sure that getting on a frisky dhorse would be exactly what the doctor ordered.

Since I can't ride I've spending silly amounts of time drooling over saddlery catalogues and dreaming of new rugs, numnahs, and even brushes. I think I need to get out more!

Don't know when I last (if ever) drooled over a brush but dragged all their existing rugs out today and had a word with self. Self is willing to compromise by getting some furry or fleecey things to go underneath when it gets colder. Feed rep is adamant the calm and condition will help keep weight on them both this winter, we'll see!

I bought an Optimo and love it love it love it love it! My other mare has a now 4 year old duo on - but they really have got this one sooooooo spot on!
The way I look at it, is yes they are very expensive - but they do tend to last as long as you dont have a rug wrecking horse.

I can honestly say that the Optimo is lovely - and the gusset that far back really does work :)
