So I have been at my current school for 7 years and am ready to move on. Unfortunately I have lost my existing CV over many computer moves/USB sticks lost and don't know where to start. There seem to be tonnes of websites about cv writing on the internet but can anyone recommend a good one?

Will you actually need a CV? A lot of schools require a detailed application form and a tailored covering letter.

Yes, one of the schools I'm keen on has requested a cv.

You will need to put on everything you have done since the age of 18.

If you focus on getting this chronological info together, the rest of it will fall into place.

Look for whatever key skills/experience that school are looking for and use them as headings to show how you match the spec.
