Mixed year groups for NQT year?

I suspect I am slightly crazy but I am considering applying for a Reception/Year 1/Year 2 role for my NQT year. Lovely small village school with great reputation and close to home. Downside is will be only teacher in either key stage :-/ Taught identical class as part of my PGCE and loved the variety. Am I crazy to go for the role as my very first?!

If you have done it before and enjoyed it go for it.I personally wouldn't touch it with a barge pole...horses for courses.

I think it would be horribly hard work. I really suggest looking at larger schools, preferably with more than one class per year group so you have the support of colleagues around you.
