Is this even possible? I left three months ago. So upset!

DonkeyOaty Sat 23-Apr-16 10:55:09

What?!

DoreenLethal Sat 23-Apr-16 10:55:42

More info needed.

Left or on sick leave?
Is it the Head and SLT being unbelievably nasty, or are the circumstances something that's extremely serious and requiring further investigation?
Either way, contact your union ASAP.

TheSolitaryWanderer Sat 23-Apr-16 11:01:12

Oh.
It's OK enchanted, I remember the last time we encountered each other, I'm gone. smile
Hope you get some useful support.

enchantedfairytale Sat 23-Apr-16 14:40:05

Ok, never mind.

WhoTheFuckIsSimon Sat 23-Apr-16 14:43:51

If you're no longer employed by them I wouldn't have thought they can.

Unless it's something so serious they're thinking of getting you struck off as a teacher.....if that's even possible. I know health care professionals can have disciplinaries continue even if they've left.

WhoTheFuckIsSimon Sat 23-Apr-16 14:47:08

info here on teacher disciplinary

enchantedfairytale Sat 23-Apr-16 14:51:33

Thanks, Simon, I think that is for very serious things, as far as I am aware this doesn't fall into that category as I wasn't suspended or really had anything happen other than vague talk of 'an allegation.'

WhoTheFuckIsSimon Sat 23-Apr-16 15:09:00

Do you know what the allegation is?

enchantedfairytale Sat 23-Apr-16 15:09:22

No, not really.

WhoTheFuckIsSimon Sat 23-Apr-16 15:11:15

If you are/were in a union I would contact them and see what they suggest.

noeuf Sat 23-Apr-16 15:15:52

Although you have moved schools (presumably) are you still employed by the LA?

enchantedfairytale Sat 23-Apr-16 15:18:09

No; it was an academy anyway but they still did everything through the LA, who I don't think we're the best organised.

Temporaryanonymity Sat 23-Apr-16 15:20:23

You are registered as teachers aren't you? Might be connected to a referral to the registration body.

BombadierFritz Sat 23-Apr-16 15:29:05

Did you get a letter? What does it say?

enchantedfairytale Sat 23-Apr-16 15:31:02

I don't think it is, Temporary.

The letter says that the investigation has been completed and that I have failed to present any supporting documentation to assist with it - which is hard to do as I wasn't told what it was - and that the findings will be presented to the HT next week.

BombadierFritz Sat 23-Apr-16 15:35:08

So did the disciplinary start, then you left, and they have continued with the investigation?

noeuf Sat 23-Apr-16 15:35:43

Did you resign after they started a disciplinary? They can carry it on in your absence and come to a conclusion (they should invite your views/you)

enchantedfairytale Sat 23-Apr-16 15:45:18

No, I don't know what has happened to be honest.

WhoTheFuckIsSimon Sat 23-Apr-16 16:46:27

Well it doesn't sound like they've followed procedure, surely if there's been an investigation they should have told you the allegation by now.

enchantedfairytale Sat 23-Apr-16 16:52:30

I know but will that make any difference?

noeuf Sat 23-Apr-16 18:20:43

Is it a previous job? Do you know what the issue is?

WhoTheFuckIsSimon Sat 23-Apr-16 18:21:15

Might make a difference if you threaten them with legal action.

DoreenLethal Sat 23-Apr-16 18:36:14

Sure the letter is for you?
