Have been waiting and waiting for some inspiration to pop into my head but I am way too tired with too much to do and I left it far too late to book anyone.
Has anyone got any things they have done which worked well?
I am meant to be organising the event for a large Primary.
Thanks

I've organised a few for our large primary. We always dress up as book characters, we always do class paired reading, we also do teachers visiting different classes to read a favourite story

Other than that, I think the best one we've done was each class had to design a door as a book cover. They were amazing! The winning class chose £50 of books for their class b

We did a sleepover once, not all night obv! And we are an infant school... We used all our le equipment to make dens with covers over them, had beanbags and all sorts, mats etc and the children came in the pjs and read books together. There was pop corn and squash and one teacher read a story using the projector and there was also some kind of treasure hunt IIRC.
It was brilliant! And knackering!
