I'm quite excited!

Makes such a difference to be going back to an amazing team and a HT I love. I think it's going to be a good year and I'm looking forward to seeing what we can achieve.

I am still in recovery from two years of hell on SLT ending in stress leave and jacking it in- so not being filled with dread is a huge relief.

Come on... I can't be the only one!?

I love my job.

I mean, I live the holidays too, but I'm happy to go back.

I start a new school tomorrow, after sheer hell at my last one. It's exciting.

This is the thread for me! Very excited (and not a little apprehensive) about starting a new job on Thursday following a couple of terms on Supply after being forced to leave the school from Hell last Easter!

There is a great year ahead for all of us!

I had a brilliant first day today. The staff were so positive and calm.

Very happy to be back in my new school (well-been there 9 months.)

This time last year I had returned to a very depressing place run by a head who was a totally incompetent control freak- pissed off the good teachers and didn't deal with the weaker ones. The non- pupil day started with two hours of data analysis culminating in the message that we were all crap! I went home knowing that I had to get out of the the school I loved and had been in for over two decades. Sad

One year on I skipped into work and had a brilliant day! Loved being back with my littlies!

SOOOOOOO pleased I moved! Smile
