Does anyone know what I am likely to be asked? It's with a local Headteacher (no agencies here).

In primary?
Flexibility, are you prepared to work any and all hours, and with any age group? Could you walk in expecting Y5 and then be OK if today you need to be Y2?
How up to date are you on the curriculum and teaching methods?
Experience or skill in any specific area such as SN or MFL.

Sorry, yes primary. Based on those questions, I'd never get a job! Did my NQT then have been at home with kids for 4 years. Only taught reception and year 2. Not that flexible thanks to aforementioned kids. No specific skills. I'm goosed aren't I?!

Not if the head is looking for specific cover for KS1/EY and for set days. As in PPA or NQT time. You might be exactly what they want.

The head is interviewing me on behalf of the department of education, so any school could contact me about doing supply once I get on the list. Hopefully I'll be what someone is looking for. Just need to get on that list! Thanks for your encouraging words dust.
Don't suppose anyone knows, if I'm doing supply work, would I need to declare that I'm pregnant? I know- make things hard for myself why don't I!
