Are you 'hidden' on social media?

We recently had CPD day and one of the sessions was about e-safety.

Part of our 'homework' was to google ourselves and consider what pupils/parents/colleagues would find.
Having done this I can't say I'm mortified, however, I don't use my real name on my social media accounts. I used to and those old posts link to my more recent 'persona'
I'm sure if someone was determined to find me they would and as I said there aren't photos of me in compromising situations or falling down drunk, but I'd rather not be so easily found. I naively thought having tweaked my name a long time ago that when I googled myself I wouldn't pop straight up but nope, there is plenty for anyone to find.
How anonymous are you?
Is it something you worry about? How can you hide if you wanted to?

Mine could find me on Twitter but it's so harmless on there they'd be welcome.

Just googled myself, 1 photo came up from a friends Facebook account. Apart from that, nothing. Quite proud of that as I have a really rare name :)

More of less totally hidden except if you go about 4 pages down on googling my name my birth story of my last 2 dcs comes up. I have repeatedly asked for it to be deleted but no joy from the owner of the site. Never had any mention of it from everyone so assume that even the most determined kid gives up before page 4!

Yeah, nothing exciting for me either.

My linked in page came up (nothing exciting there!) my work page came up and some money I'd given on just giving.

But then again, I'm a boring middle aged mum of two so there never was going to be anything really exciting!

Just googled. Not hidden but my tweets are about cloth nappies and great places to eat. I'm fine with that.

A twitter account from about 6 years ago, only a handful of posts and nothing too incriminating but I can't log in to it now!

I do Twitter, but in a professional capacity anyway. Don't do anything else.

The only thing that came up for me (not on FB or Twitter) were 2 posts on a site called Rate your Teacher. I have never heard of this site. Luckily both posts were kind, some weren't for other colleagues. The posts date back to 2007.

Awful site. Can't believe it hasn't been taken down.

The only things that come up for me are various results from the sport I compete in, and I'm fine with that, the kids all know what I do anyway.
