I work in a school where my son is also a pupil. Am finding it impossible to get before school care for him (he has SN) and have been talking to the head about setting up a breakfast club for those of us who work at the school and whose children also attend - so it would be an employees 'perk' if you like, and self funded. It would be a very small group of children - probably only 4 or 5 at the most. Does anyone have any experience of such a thing? I need to read up on things like insurance.

Would it not be preferable to start a breakfast club, which would be open to all pupils in the school? Staff could have free sessions as a perk.

We can't do that because of staffing and transport issues (its a special school)
