Great news on Gove but she doesn't appear to a leaning towards education!?

nickstmoritz Tue 15-Jul-14 13:06:41

Get in!!!! I hated Gove.

Bodeccia Tue 15-Jul-14 13:11:48

I feel physically relieved he has gone. On yer bike Gove!

Nicky Morgan voted against gay marriage hmm

What is wrong with these people??

ChillySundays Tue 15-Jul-14 13:26:25

I expect the majority will be relieved his is gone but let's see what Ms Morgan has to offer first.

Just saw the headline on the BBC website. Glad to hear he's gone!

Midweek celebratory glass of wine planned - I've outlasted the fucker! grin.

Not that our new lizard looks to be much of an improvement, but I'm still going to enjoy the schadenfreudgasm whilst it lasts.

All those voodoo pin cushions must've finally worked.

She is committed to carry on what Gove and Truss started! Don't count your chickens too fast!

V glad indeed - but she doesn't look terribly sensible, either.

A parent and a grandparent asked me on the playground this afternoon if I had the champagne on ice. Teacher and retired head teacher, both beaming from ear to ear. I wonder if me bring the only teacher on strike last week has given them any clues to my feelings on the subject?!?

Sorry - phone...

DD2 is delighted by the news.

Apparently it was Michael Gove's fault she couldn't use her calculator in her Maths SATS, and he's been "trying to improve everyone's education, even though we're fine already". grin

She's 10.

SuburbanRhonda Tue 15-Jul-14 17:54:08

cointreau, sounds like your DC would make a better replacement smile

breward Tue 15-Jul-14 18:22:57

Absolutely delighted. Good riddance; enjoy whipping your own colleagues for the next year!

Springheeled Tue 15-Jul-14 18:35:56

I could almost pity the Tory MPs he'll be whipping. Almost!

FeministStar Tue 15-Jul-14 19:21:29

Springheeled they'll probably enjoy it.
