egzamining - worth it?

just thinking about experience...is it worth it to get egzamining ?

Yes, definitely. None of us are in it for the money, although a few hundred pounds does help each summer. I am in Scotland, though, so all one exam system so you really learn about the exams your own pupils are sitting from the inside. I think it has been worth grades and grades to them. Puck the highest level you are comfortable with - the easier the exam, the more boring the marking!

Yes. I do Eng Lit Higher every year - it's invaluable to my teaching.

Although I am also unashamedly in it for the money, tbh. with several years' experience I'm quick & accurate, so usually get offered an additional allocation. I make about £1700-2000.

It's a month of misery & tedium - but well worth it, I think.

Waves to Raven -Close Reading Higher here. Also off to verify N5 next week although the SQA don't pay for that,
