I am currently on maternity leave and want to start looking for a full time position.
I had a years maternity cover in a school and then did supply for a couple of months before going on maternity leave. I left the school on a good note, but during the summer holidays I discovered that they had breached my contract by terminating it without notice. They had decided that they would only pay me up until the last day of the summer term and not until 31st August as per my contract. Anyway I challenged this via my union and was successful. Can I still use the head as my reference or should I use someone else?
