Am job hunting after my fixed term contract for mixed year 1/2 class ended. Wish I was messing up doing my register - though the office staff are probably relieved as I once merrily missed 2 pages and was doing my thing in the wrong place! Tut tut.....see me......miss your playtime etc etc

missmapp Thu 05-Sep-13 20:07:30

Here!

Upper KS2, head of Kstage and literacy co-ord. Love the teaching, not so keen on the other stuff.

First day back today with shiny, well behaved children- long may it continue!!

Dysgu Thu 05-Sep-13 21:10:26

Upper KS2 and nothing else right now although I am still on maternity leave.

Did go in for the last two days for INSET - we are in special measures so LOTS of change ahead!

Children back today - I thought fondly of all my colleagues as I played with DD2 and baby DS.

There is a part of me that would love to be back in my classroom...

missmapp Thu 05-Sep-13 21:16:22

Dysgu, I was on maternity in Sept once and it felt really weird- like I should be labelling books and laminating displays! It is in built to be in the classroom in Sept-but make the most of your time at home, the classroom will come soon enough!

Yma! (Here!)

Teaching in North Wales, in lower Key Stage 2.

Class shaping up slightly better than last year's I think (if early impressions are to be believed) - think I have the first class in 3 years that doesn't have a child that is a bit more challenging than the average, behaviour wise.
I do have a whole host of other ishoos to deal with, so thank goodness.

I'm on new hours this year and used to have all day off on Friday. No more, but only in half day tomorrow. smile smile

TwllBach Thu 05-Sep-13 21:43:04
